By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Retro Games PSX application ("the App"), website, or related software provided by the developer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please immediately discontinue use and uninstall the application.

2. Nature of the Software & Emulation Engine

Retro Games PSX integrates open-source emulation cores derived from the LibretroDroid / Lemuroid framework to simulate the hardware architecture of 32-bit console systems. Emulators are independent software implementations recognized under law as lawful technological tools for reverse-engineered hardware virtualization.

The app provides a frontend interface, download manager, on-screen controller input library, CRT shader pipeline, and save state management tools.

3. User Responsibilities & Content Ownership

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Personal Backups: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use, download, or possession of any game ROMs, disc images (.bin/.cue, .iso, .chd), or firmware files complies with all copyright and intellectual property laws in your jurisdiction.
• Jurisdictional Compliance: In many jurisdictions, creating and playing digital backup copies of software you physically own is permitted under fair use or statutory personal backup exceptions. You represent that you have the lawful right to execute any titles you run via the App.
• Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developers of Retro Games PSX from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your violation of applicable copyright laws.

When using Retro Games PSX, you agree NOT to:

• Abuse, flood, or engage in automated scraping of our backend catalog APIs or download CDN edge infrastructure.
• Decompile, modify, repackage, or distribute commercial cracked variants of the application APK or its underlying touchinput libraries without express written consent.
• Attempt to circumvent application security, certificate pinning, or licensing mechanisms.
• Use the application for any unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent purpose.

6. PRO Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Retro Games PSX may offer optional in-app purchases or PRO subscriptions to provide enhanced features such as an ad-free interface, priority VIP CDN download speeds, and Google Drive cloud save sync:

• Billing: All transactions are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not store or process your credit card or financial payment credentials.
• Subscription Management: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Google Play Store account settings at least 24 hours prior to the end of the billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are governed by the standard Google Play refund policies.
